My Mission
We help High-Level Professionals ("hey, that's you!") become Massively More Effective with their teams all while defeating the stress and completely REVERSING career burnout.
Whether you are the leader in your office, a manager on a sales team, or you run your Small Business - we've got you covered.
Methodology
Our process is simple. We're going to get you there quickly with a relentless combination of small, simple steps and sometimes massive, deliberate action. These well-defined action steps will be designed to smash through whatever barrier lies before (both real or perceived).
Trust us, if you're willing to do the work, it will look easy and feel effortless. Your friends, coworkers, and bosses are going to wonder where your new superpower came from.
We're here with you on the journey. We'll meet regularly and explore what's working - and what's NOT working.
Whether you're on the track for CEO or maybe you are looking to feel more confident in your role today. We'll chart those actions together and you better believe we're going to follow up with you on those steps with a healthy and friendly dose of Accountability.
So What's Holding You Back?
We’ve all had that feeling. That “I know I’m destined for something greater than this…” pang in the back of your head when you’ve dealt with a boss/client/coworker you don’t like. Working yourself silly to accomplish what seems to be a never-ending hill to climb. Driving that commute to that job you don’t even like.
Maybe you’ve successfully taken your startup from "zero to One" (congrats!) and now you want to take it from "One to 100, or 1,000, or even higher."
Maybe you've got some great ideas and you need to find your voice to share them at work.
Maybe you've just been promoted (again, congrats!) and you aren't comfortable in your role.
As I alluded above, I cannot wait to work with you on these feelings. Let’s connect and get you where you want to go.
Have additional questions, drop me a line and let’s see if we’re the right fit
“Coaching” to me is the process of getting you from where you are now to your ideal vision.
That’s it.
If you’ve got a goal, a problem, you’re stuck and don’t exactly know what to do next - or you do know but can’t seem to commit to action - that’s where Coaching comes in.
Coaching is a relationship business. You and I are going to partner up and have several conversations. The most important thing for me to tell you is that YOU HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED to accomplish your dreams, we’re going to find whatever block is in your way and get you moving along your path.
Our first meeting is an introductory discussion, we get to know each other and see if we’re a good fit.
The second is our exploratory and design session. Here we’ll work out details of the overall strategic vision you’d like to achieve and several ground rules. Then we’re off and running. The rest of our meetings are typically 30 to 60 minute sessions bi-weekly for four - five months.
Once in our main sessions we’re going to deep dive into you and discover what’s holding you back - both consciously and subconsciously. We will accomplish this through insightful conversations, powerful questions, reflective silence, well-defined action steps - and - accountability check ups.
I’m going to zero in on any limiting beliefs, cognitive bias, statements like “I can’t do that!”, and try to find out what’s REALLY in your way.
No. You don’t “need” coaching. If you’re serious about accomplishing your dreams and need a little help then you should consider and “want” Coaching. I encourage you to research the field and see if Coaching is right for you.
You may be thinking “Oh! I get it! You’re going to help me solve my problem - like a consultant, right?”
Not quite. There is a distinct difference in Consulting and Coaching. In the former you are paying me to study your problem and provide you an answer - in Coaching YOU have all the answers. My main goal is to find out what they are and help you take action.
Coaching is also not Therapy. Therapy is used to heal a past wound. Though our sessions may feel a little like “couch time” I’m not qualified to help you in that area. If we find something in our discussions that may warrant external help I will definitely point this out.
Expect for our professional relationship to last for at least 10 sessions over five months. We can adjust as necessary based on the size and timing of the problem (i.e. I need help getting a report out in the next two weeks! - or - I’m up for a big promotion in a month!); however change is typically not fast and it may take a few months to really notice your shift in momentum.
Expect to pay what you would from any professional service. We’ll discuss this as we design our alliance together. If the cost is prohibitive then let’s discuss and see if we can come to an arrangement.
Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee an ROI. All results will be rooted in YOUR ability to take action and the self work YOU do. We’re going to dig deep - if you have the courage to jump in the hole with me I will work very hard to ensure you get more than your value’s worth.
Because I’m fun - next question.
Seriously though, as an engineer, Military leader, and general “midwesterner” I have a passion for (1) meeting new people, (2) solving problems and (3) working with motivated individuals to accomplish what they previously thought was “impossible”.
You may find conversation with me relatively easy and I’m excited to offer potentially new perspectives to your situation.
“Every session with Joe has yielded a number of personal and professional insights that have helped me overcome obstacles, work more efficiently, connect with other professionals and outside resources, and achieve a better work/life balance. He has a way of helping you cut right to the core of tough issues and identifying new paths to be more successful.”
“Joseph is the ultimate coach’s coach. With a thoughtful and thought-provoking approach to working with his clients, he helps them find the foundation they need to continue to move toward their goals.”
With help from Joe, I was able to quiet the background noise of deadlines, commitments, and that voice saying “I don’t know if this is the right time” and really focus on my own goals in an honest and objective way. By doing that, I was better able to communicate those goals in a way that resulted in a transition to a corporate leadership position that I’m very excited about and might otherwise have not been considered for because I had not expressed my interest or walked away from while I continued to wait around for the “right time” instead of making it the right time for myself.
I’m excited to meet you and can’t wait for us to connect. Let’s get after it!
