Close your mouth, your eyes, and take a deep breath through your nose, hold for a few seconds and then out the same way. Then do it again, slower than the first time.
Take a deep breath before and after that call.
When you’re in a frustrating meeting.
When you’re in the car.
When you’re fighting with your spouse (or about to). 😉
There are a bazillion (real word) studies on breath-work and their umpteen (also a word) million benefits. As a leader you need to be on top of your game and this is one small way for you to clear your mind and destress, if only for a moment, and allow you space. 😊
