Your Mom was Right!
Yes, Really!

I’m currently listening to Jim Kwik’s “Limitless” on the power of the mind. Kwik asserts that our human potential is the only unlimited resource in the universe – and it got me thinking about that (hopefully) common adage our parents tell us when we were young: “You can do anything you set your mind to.”
I don’t remember if I believed them at the time however I certainly do now. Just think about it. If you put your heart, soul, and tenacious grit into any goal – I mean really endeavored to it – there’s no stopping your momentum.
If you aligned yourself to that goal daily and sought #opportunities to achieve that goal, you’d get there. It might take a little longer than planned (or… “how can we do it faster?”), however you’d get there. I think that’s why I have a newfound passion for Coaching, those of us in this industry are helping people re-define what’s possible in their lives daily and its truly exciting.
So, what’s holding YOU back??
Probably a limiting belief:
“I’m not smart enough.”
“I’m too old/young.”
“That’s not for me.”
“I could NEVER do that.” (my least favorite)
“I’ll never be successful.”
“I don’t have enough money.”
(and another favorite….)
“They won’t let me.”
I’m usually unclear on who “they” is but I promise you those statements is only true IF YOU LET THEM BE! To that point, I spent time yesterday thinking of examples of impossible goals and I couldn’t come up with a single one. (try it and comment below 😊)
HOMEWORK ALERT!
Also listen: Earl Nightingale, “The Strangest Secret” (32mins, I promise you it’s worth the time)
While you’re at it, give your family a call and thank them for their love and support.
Cheers!
